Office of Academic Affairs

Welcome to the Office of Academic Affairs

The Vice President for Academic Affairs oversees the academic policies for Cardinal Stritch University. The vice president collaborates with colleagues through the institution to achieve the goals and aspirations at one of the largest Franciscan universities in the United States. The vice president works directly with the deans of the four colleges on campus (Ruth S. Coleman College of Nursing & Health Sciences, College of Business and Management, College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Education and Leadership), as well as with faculty and staff members.

The Office of Academic Affairs is focused on creating a platform for continued excellence, data driven and innovative actions, focusing on student learning in all aspects of their life at the institution and collegial and collaborative forward-leaning progress. Leadership of the academic identity of the University and the actions to implement that focus and plan is a key activity.

The Office of Academic Affairs is an integrated, collegial and collaborative division of the University that strives to support students in helping them to achieve their mission.

The status of Emerita/Emeritus is an honorary rank conferred by the Board of Trustees of the University upon the recommendation of the President, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of the College and Department Chair, and the approval of the Academic and Student Affairs Committee. These individuals have made a significant contribution to the University in more than one of the following areas: teaching, scholarship, service to the University, service to the community, and service to the profession. We are proud to have had them among our faculty and administration at Cardinal Stritch University.
